Builder’s Legacy AI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides construction documentation and reporting software designed for contractors, superintendents, project managers, and field teams. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and how it is handled when you use the Builder’s Legacy AI web application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to operate the Service and generate your construction documentation:

• Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
• Project and Field Documentation: Information you enter into the application, including project names, job site locations, daily field notes, trade partner and manpower entries, work performed summaries, safety observations, delay notes, and job site photos you choose to upload.
• Audio Inputs: When you use voice dictation features, your voice audio is temporarily transmitted for conversion into text for your reports.
• Location Information: If you choose to use the automated weather lookup feature on a daily report, your device’s location is used with your permission to identify current local weather conditions for that report.
• Billing Information: If you purchase a paid subscription, payment transactions are handled directly by our payment processor. We do not collect or store full credit card numbers on our servers.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Generate, format, and store your daily reports, manpower logs, safety documents, and related records.
• Transcribe voice dictation into editable report fields.
• Retrieve weather observations for your daily reports upon request.
• Manage your account, user authentication, and active subscription.
• Respond to your inquiries, support requests, and account notices.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on third-party service providers to support application infrastructure and functionality:

• Cloud Hosting and Database: Application data, uploaded job site photos, and user records are stored on secure cloud infrastructure.
• Artificial Intelligence & Transcription: Text generation, report formatting, and audio transcription features are processed through cloud AI services.
• Weather Services: Geocoding and weather queries are routed to weather data providers when you look up weather for a report.
• Payment Processing: Subscription billing is processed through Stripe.

We do not sell your personal information or project data to third parties.

5. Deletion of Information

Users can delete items within the application where deletion controls are available.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and administrative precautions to safeguard your account and project documentation against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended strictly for commercial and professional construction management use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
